Sports

Britain is one of the world countries where people have the possibility to play a variety of sport. In Britain every year a calendar is establishing to shows when and where the most important sport events will happen. This year, this month there are two rest of sport event: Derby horse racing on the flat and the Wimbledon tennis fortnight.
The Derby horse racing is the oldest and most famous horse races in the world and the most popular flat race in the English racing calendar. It takes places on the first Saturday of June each year and it is the 3rd classic of the English flat racing season. Horses run over a distance of 1mile 4 furlongs. The home of the derby is Epsom downs racecourse; and the race has been run since 1661.The particularity of this event is the fact that the Queen always assists to it since she has her own horse in the race.
This year, the derby horse racing has been won by a 19 years old French rider. Her horse, called “Pour MOI” spoiled the dream of the Queen which was of finally winning the world’s greatest flat race. The national health service

The National Health Service is a service providing care to all the UK’s residents.
It is born in 1948 on July 5. He’s open was an idea of the health secretary Aneurin Bevan who firstly opens Park Hospital in Manchester with the ambition of bringing good healthcare to all the UK’s residents.
The NHS provides free care to all the UK’s residents. This is very significant because in other countries peoples have to pay for their care, and sometimes it might be expensive.  But the dilemma is the fact that in the UK people pay for the NHS when they pay their taxes. The NHS entitles to diagnostic treatment for any illness. People can receive treatment for everything from minor ailments to serious diseases free of charge.
Depending on the nature of their problem, people when ill may be treated by a doctor, dentist or optician and these are the services offers by the NHS. GP services is one of the services offered by the NHS, to benefits from the NHS all the residents should registered to a GP.
Nowadays, the NHS is face to some few problems such as the lack of funding. Like always it’s over budget therefore they have cut thousands of nurses and other staffs jobs to save money which can affect patient care generally.

The media - newspaper

Nowadays, mass media plays an important role in the society. There are many way of delivering news to the public where newspapers are included.
In Britain there is a variety of newspapers. The popular are The Guardian, The Independent, The Daily telegraph and the Daily express. All of these are printed out every day and give news about the situation in Britain.
Tabloids are also available to have information. But there are many things that differentiate tabloids from newspapers. Tabloids usually refer to a type of newspaper that typically measure 11×17 inches and is five columns across, narrower than a broadsheet newspaper. Tabloids are smaller; their stories tend to be shorter than the one found in broadsheets newspapers. Tabloids readers are often working class residents of big cities. Indeed, many cities prefer tabloids because they are easy to carry and read maybe on the coffee shop, bus or train. And they also use more colour and have more pictures.

Crime and Punishment

In my opinion the death penalty should exist because it act as a deterrent. I strongly believe to do both of punishment and rehabilitation in a prison, because one of those are not enough for the victim.
Many people believe that who drink and drive is deserve the strong punishment and not allowed to drive for one year because that will put others in dangerous situation .In my country the law have special system for the joy-riding, vandalism and graffiti because these become more likely nowadays and the punishment are : stay in the prison for one month also that depends on the type of the this crime. On the same hand the political right should not break the law at all
because the law took place to product the people and make every things equal. Moreover, the smoking cannabis should have a high level of punishment for who use it because its extremely damage the brain after using it. However, the law in Saudi Arabia never been broken because it use a Islamic religion law, for example:
if someone break a hand of other he/she will be judged to get broken hand.
